The Senior Health Informatics Data Analyst will leverage healthcare data to demonstrate the impact of Wellth's behavior change programs.
This role requires expertise in healthcare datasets and analyses, including health outcomes, ROI, and utilization reduction.
The analyst will transform healthcare data into compelling narratives and actionable insights, enhancing the team's analytical capabilities.
Responsibilities include conducting analyses to identify trends, leading client discussions, developing reports and visualizations, and collaborating with various teams to optimize data usage.
The position reports to the Director of Data Engineering and Analytics and involves close collaboration with data engineering, analytics engineering, and commercial teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working with healthcare products and data, specifically with medical/pharmacy claims data and patient data.
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a healthcare data analyst in a client-facing role is required.
Proficiency in optimizing SQL queries on analytical databases such as Redshift and Snowflake is necessary.
Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Sisense, along with a strong eye for visual storytelling, is essential.
A strong understanding of healthcare quality metrics (HEDIS, Stars) and ROI/financial modeling is required.
Candidates must possess strong communication skills to translate complex data into understandable narratives for diverse audiences.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, with experience in developing scalable processes, are crucial.
The ability to provide strategic insights and identify new ways to leverage data to meet client objectives is necessary.
