The Senior Healthcare Data Analyst will utilize data to influence healthcare delivery and policy.
Responsibilities include providing analytical support for audits of medical invoices, combining data for analysis, ensuring accuracy of electronic invoices, and applying advanced analytical techniques to identify anomalies.
The analyst will record methods and results, utilize IDEA auditing software, perform invoice testing, and collaborate with the Audit Team for research and analysis.
The role requires developing repeatable analysis methods and scripts for standardization and accuracy.
Requirements:
Candidates must have an active Public Trust or the ability to obtain one, requiring U.S. citizenship and a favorable background check.
A bachelor's degree in health information management, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is typically required, or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience with healthcare data, including claims, EHRs, or public health datasets, is necessary.
Proficiency in statistical analysis and software tools such as SAS, R, SPSS, Python, or SQL is required.
Experience with data management practices to ensure data integrity and usability is essential.
Candidates must demonstrate analytical expertise and the ability to master IDEA auditing software.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with Access and SQL is preferred.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple organizations are required.
