The Sentinel team is responsible for building, operating, and improving infrastructure offerings for over 150 client organizations.
The role involves adopting best infrastructure practices and leveraging 100% automation to scale product offerings and reduce costs.
In the first 12 months, the successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of Sentinel and its customers, build and operate cloud infrastructure based on customer requirements, solve development and deployment challenges, participate in new feature rollouts, contribute to monitoring and alerting systems, harden infrastructure security, respond to customer issues, and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements:
Candidates should be excited about automation, building scalable technical solutions, and being a team player.
Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language such as Python or Java is required, along with deep technical troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in Terraform, Scalr, or similar tools is necessary.
Experience with AWS’s core services and the ability to create solutions based on high-level user descriptions is required.
Hands-on experience in building CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitActions or Jenkins is essential.
Candidates must have hands-on experience in networking, subnets, and CIDR applicable to deploying applications.
Experience with scripting languages such as bash or PowerShell is required.
Knowledge of operating system basics (Linux and/or Windows) is necessary.
Familiarity with main cloud vendors and big-data tools like Snowflake, Airflow, or Spark is preferred.
Working knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and data storage with relational and NoSQL databases is required.
Excellent cross-team communication and collaboration skills are essential.
Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows is required.
