The position is for a Senior Pre-Sales Inside Systems Engineer focused on mid-market Commercial accounts, requiring candidates to be located in EST or CST.
The role involves conducting virtual and in-person product demonstrations and presentations for various decision-makers, including C-level executives.
Responsibilities include implementing and managing Proof of Concepts (POCs) to technical closure, supporting lead generation activities, and collaborating with customers to translate business objectives into technical requirements.
The successful candidate will independently consult with customers, stay informed about industry trends, and work closely with the sales department and Product Management to secure new partners and provide customer feedback.
Pre-sales support will be provided to customers evaluating Veeam software.
Requirements:
Candidates must be self-motivated and technically competent, with the ability to collaborate with sales and support teams to close sales.
Industry experience in storage, networking, security, and virtualization is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary, with the ability to present to large groups.
The role requires 25% travel within the assigned territory.
Experience in a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer role, particularly with mid-market accounts, is preferred.
Familiarity with cloud and/or SaaS solutions is a plus.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $110,300 and $157,500 USD, which includes base and variable pay.
