Remote Senior iOS Developer (Objective-C & Swift)

Description:

• Oowlish, a rapidly expanding software development company in Latin America, is seeking a Senior iOS Developer proficient in Objective-C and Swift.
• The role involves maintaining a legacy codebase and contributing to new feature development and modernization efforts.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions for real-world fundraising initiatives.
• Key responsibilities include maintaining and improving an existing iOS codebase, building and launching new iOS features and applications, working with RESTful APIs and cloud services, and ensuring code quality through best practices and thorough testing.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in iOS development.
• Strong proficiency in both Objective-C and Swift is required.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain legacy codebases and evolve them over time is essential.
• Proven experience in building at least one full iOS application from scratch and publishing it in the App Store is necessary.
• A solid understanding of iOS architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or VIPER is required.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (e.g., Firebase, AWS), and third-party libraries is mandatory.
