Remote Senior iOS Engineer

Description:

• The Senior iOS Engineer will design and ship new product surfaces using SwiftUI.
• The role involves integrating Apple Intelligence APIs for private, on-device generative features such as summaries, image generation, and semantic indexing while ensuring compliance with GDPR and CCPA requirements.
• The engineer will lead architectural refactors to structured concurrency, including async/await and actors, as well as SwiftData persistence.
• Establishing CI pipelines that utilize Xcode 26 AI-assisted tests, baseline performance metrics, and parallelized XCTest on Apple silicon is a key responsibility.
• The engineer will be an active contributor for new applications.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience shipping consumer-grade iOS apps, with at least one app having 500k or more monthly active users in the App Store.
• Expertise in Swift 6, SwiftUI 4+, Combine, and Core Animation is required.
• Hands-on experience with Core ML, Metal Performance Shaders, or third-party LLM integration is necessary.
• A deep familiarity with App Clips, Live Activities, widgets, and in-app purchase flow is essential.
• A strong command of privacy and security best practices, including Keychain, App Transport Security, and Private Cloud Compute, is required.
