Quantum Metric is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join their remote-first team, focusing on creating a diverse and inclusive culture.
The role involves owning the stability and resilience of the core iOS SDK, which helps customers understand user interactions with their apps.
Responsibilities include championing code quality through rigorous testing, leading and collaborating on best practices, and driving product evolution by contributing to product development discussions.
Requirements:
Candidates must be comfortable with Objective-C and Swift, with a proven track record of testing and maintaining complex iOS applications or SDKs.
Adaptability and broader mobile development knowledge, such as experience with Flutter or React Native, is a plus.
A strong command of iOS testing frameworks like XCTest and Appium (or similar) is required.
The ideal candidate thrives in a high-performing, fast-paced environment and has a proven ability to collaborate effectively within an agile team.
A self-starter mentality is essential, with a preference for choosing their own direction based on team benefit.
Candidates should be comfortable communicating with key stakeholders outside their direct organization.
The role requires ownership of code quality to ensure the best possible product for customers.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent is valued but not mandatory; skills and experience of self-taught engineers are highly regarded.
Familiarity with pipelines and Gitlab is a plus.
Compensation for the position ranges from $120,000 to $165,000 base salary.
