Remote Senior Java Developer

Description:

• Octus is a leading global provider of credit intelligence, data, and analytics, serving professionals across various sectors since 2013.
• The Senior Java Developer will report to Keenan Clifford and will be responsible for developing and supporting code for Sky Road’s Order Management System (OMS).
• The OMS provides configurable trade processing, including trade allocation algorithms, compliance testing, trade executions, and integrations with third-party systems.
• The role focuses on supporting, developing, testing, and maintaining new functionality in Sky Road’s OMS, particularly the Allocation and Workflow Engines.
• Key responsibilities include improving functionality, performance, quality, and support of the OMS, developing expertise in the Allocation and Workflow Engines, writing automated JUnit and regression tests, and maintaining documentation for internal team members.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is required.
• Candidates must have at least 5 years of Java experience.
• Experience with the Spring Boot framework, Spring Security framework, and JPA for at least 5 years is necessary.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Relational Databases is required.
• Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience building and maintaining REST APIs for applications.
• Experience with CI/CD technologies such as Git, Jenkins, and JUnit is also required.
