Description:

• Inetum Polska is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join their team for a critical project involving the migration of existing Java applications from Sybase to PostgreSQL.
• The role includes designing and developing new applications using a modern cloud-native stack, primarily utilizing Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
• Responsibilities include migrating Java applications from Sybase to PostgreSQL, designing and developing new applications, working with integration technologies like Kafka and REST, and collaborating with the team to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable software.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have strong programming skills in Java and Spring Boot.
• Excellent database knowledge is required, with a strong preference for PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Sybase and the ability to migrate stored procedures to application code is necessary.
• Familiarity with Hibernate is required.
• A solid understanding of integration patterns and technologies, such as Kafka and REST, is essential.
• Nice to have skills include experience with Kubernetes and knowledge of Kafka.
