Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience designing, building, and operating complex, highly-scalable, distributed applications and systems.
A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on software development experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, or NodeJS is required.
Experience with both relational databases (e.g., Postgres) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is necessary.
Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure/deployment tools, specifically with cluster operations and operators, is essential.
Candidates should have experience building platforms from an early stage and scaling them to handle many users (10,000+ DAU).
Extensive system-design experience is required, along with experience designing systems with complex data sets and relations.
Experience working with distributed systems/platforms is necessary.
Candidates should prioritize architecture in their design thinking and have experience implementing a multi-tenant system.
A systematic problem-solving approach, strong sense of ownership, and drive are essential.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is required.
Experience working in high-energy startups with fast product delivery mechanisms is preferred.
