Mimica's mission is to empower enterprises, teams, and individuals to reclaim their most precious resource — time and work more efficiently, with greater purpose and impact.
The company’s AI-powered task mining observes employee actions across the desktop and categorizes them into detailed process maps.
Mimica’s process intelligence highlights inefficiencies, prioritizes improvements based on ROI, recommends the optimal technology for automation, and provides a blueprint for building new automations and transforming work.
In this role, you will be a member of the ML Chapter and work with the Mapper team, focusing on the continuous development of Mimica Mapper, which creates intuitive flowcharts that map out user and team workflows.
You will own experiments and explore complex problems related to task similarity and improving the use of the Mapper.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing and running experiments to improve the ML processing system, writing clear technical reports, writing clean and maintainable Python code, interfacing with the internal Process Analyst team, supporting productionization, collaborating with other engineers and product managers, and contributing to knowledge sharing and process improvement.
Requirements:
Strong technical skills in setting up, running, and evaluating experiments using both classic and deep learning-based approaches are required.
A solid background in tabular data and event data classification is essential.
A researcher mindset with curiosity and rigor in exploring and solving complex problems is necessary.
The ability to effectively mix classic and deep learning methods, with a clear understanding of when to apply each, is required.
Proficiency in supervised and unsupervised learning techniques is essential.
Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear and concise reports, are necessary.
Strong Python programming skills, emphasizing clear and readable code, are required; while productionization support may be involved, it is not the primary focus.
A drive to continually develop your skills, improve team processes, and reduce technical debt is essential.
Fluency in English, with the ability to effectively communicate abstract ideas, complex concepts, and trade-offs, is required.
Bonus qualifications include knowledge of Graph ML, experience designing and maintaining data pipelines, and experience working in a high-impact, high-ambiguity startup environment.
