The role involves designing, developing, maintaining, and improving software for various venture projects adjacent to core businesses.
The candidate will be actively involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.
Responsibilities include developing tools for application and performance monitoring, contributing to system architecture design, and developing and deploying cloud infrastructure in an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) manner.
The engineer will improve and manage Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as design and implement disaster recovery and backup solutions.
The position requires automating and streamlining operations and processes, and effectively communicating, escalating, and following up to ensure problems are resolved.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps and AWS is required.
Solid experience in AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes is a must.
The candidate should have experience in building CI/CD pipelines for large-scale enterprise applications and monitoring and maintaining mission-critical systems.
Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes cluster YAML, Karpenter, AWS, RDS Postgres instance, Redis instance, EC2 instance, GitHub repo, MSK, Datadog, Sumo Logic, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, S3, CloudFront distribution, and Cloudflare/AWS ECS service is necessary.
Experience in Linux, VPC, and network security is required.
The ability to code and write maintainable code is expected.
The candidate should embrace modern AI tools to simplify and enhance everyday tasks.
A strong interest in working in technology and/or financial environments is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a proactive, responsible, and accurate approach to ownership of resources.
