In this role, you will support the backend of a new product called the Mimica Maker, which allows users to build and orchestrate bots from recorded data.
You will build pipelines and core components of ML systems, deliver new AI features, and drive improvements to infrastructure and services.
As a founding member of the Maker Team, you will have the opportunity to shape technical direction, processes, and culture.
Daily responsibilities include working with Machine Learning Engineers to bring the Computer Use Tool to production, mentoring others in writing intuitive code, developing observability for ML applications, collaborating with Data Scientists and ML Engineers, responding to incidents regarding ML applications, documenting procedures for knowledge sharing, and participating in hiring and onboarding new team members.
Requirements:
Strong proficiency with Python and hands-on experience with GenAI models is required.
A background in solving complex technical challenges at the intersection of Software Development and Data/ML Engineering is necessary.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, operations, and containerized tools like Kubernetes and Docker is essential.
Experience in designing, building, and maintaining data collection tools, caching/storage systems, queues, and pipelines is required.
Knowledge of best practices for performance optimization, memory management, and observability is necessary.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are required to identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
A drive to continually develop skills, improve team processes, and reduce technical debt is essential.
Fluency in English and the ability to effectively communicate abstract ideas and complex concepts is required.
