The role involves architecting and deploying a high-throughput, low-latency recommendation system that can scale to millions of users and billions of daily requests.
Responsibilities include leveraging large-scale datasets to improve model performance, developing relevance models and bidding strategies, and owning the end-to-end lifecycle of production machine learning models.
The position requires collaboration with backend engineering teams to design and implement robust machine learning solutions and conducting rigorous A/B testing to validate hypotheses.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of proven experience in developing and deploying production-grade recommendation systems in high-volume environments such as adtech, e-commerce, or search.
Expertise in deep learning is required, with hands-on experience in building and optimizing neural network architectures for recommendation tasks using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Jax.
A strong software engineering background is essential.
Understanding of data engineering principles is a plus.
Experience with large-scale distributed data processing systems (e.g., Spark, Flink, Kafka) and data storage solutions (e.g., AWS Athena, S3, MySQL) is also a plus.
