Remote Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Description:

• The software platform is used by infrastructure owners and operators globally to address challenges throughout the asset life cycle, including design, construction, asset management, and climate impact.
• As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will develop machine learning models from various data sources such as LIDAR and imagery, working through the entire ML lifecycle from data collection to model monitoring.
• You will stay updated with best practices in data handling and MLOps, integrating new techniques into the platform to maintain its industry-leading status.
• The role includes mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Key contributions will involve generating accurate electric networks from imperfect data, optimizing training pipelines, scaling model serving, improving model QA, and building scalable data pipelines.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning is essential.
• A strong foundation in software engineering is required.
• Proficiency in frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Jax is necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving skills applied to new domains are expected.
• The ability to work effectively asynchronously and cross-functionally on ill-defined problems is important.
