  • The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will help design and implement the ML architecture for the future, pulling data from the existing backend tech stack, which includes Python Flask web apps, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redshift, and Elasticsearch.
  • The role involves collaborating with various teams to develop data-driven product features and applying statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
  • Responsibilities include developing statistical and machine learning models, designing end-to-end data pipelines, working with backend engineers to productionize ML models, performing feature engineering, and ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • The position is part of the Data Insights team, which collaborates with product managers, designers, and engineers to turn ideas into product features.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist, ideally at a Senior or Staff level.
  • Extensive experience with Python and familiarity with software development methodologies is required.
  • Candidates should have experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
  • Experience in deploying machine learning models to production environments is necessary.
  • Candidates should have experience with production relational databases and data warehouses, with a bonus for experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of advanced SQL techniques and experience with data modeling for data warehouses is required.
  • A working knowledge of the latest AI models and their applicability to business problems is essential.
  • A proven track record of leading successful data projects that positively impact business is necessary.
  • Candidates must be able to explain complex data science concepts to non-data scientist team members.
