Remote Senior MLOps/Backend Developer

Description:

• Wargaming’s AI Center of Excellence is building a scalable Generative AI platform, integrating LLMs, multimodal models, and RAG-based systems into live game products.
• The role involves designing reliable infrastructure, developing robust backend services, and enabling seamless deployment of AI solutions into production environments.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining MLOps pipelines, designing and implementing backend services such as APIs, microservices, gateways, and middleware.
• The engineer will build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using tools like LangChain, FAISS, or Qdrant.
• Integration of LLMs and ML models into game services (chat, asset generation, video, analytics) is required.
• The position involves maintaining and scaling production infrastructure based on Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS or GCP.
• Ensuring platform reliability and performance through observability, automation, and infrastructure as code is essential.
• The engineer will optimize real-time inference pipelines for latency and resource efficiency and collaborate closely with ML engineers, backend developers, and game teams.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience as an MLOps or Backend Engineer.
• A strong knowledge of Python or Golang is required.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tools is necessary.
• A deep understanding of API and microservice architecture for high-load systems is essential.
• Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, LangChain or LlamaIndex is required.
• Familiarity with observability and DevOps practices (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) is expected.
• Candidates should possess Upper-Intermediate English or higher (written and spoken).
