  • The company is expanding its team and is looking for a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join in ACT.
  • Responsibilities include day-to-day management of BAU tickets by troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues.
  • Plan and implement network-related projects.
  • Respond to incidents and resolve issues escalated by the service desk team in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the overall performance of networks to assess the need for updates, upgrades, and enhancements, including preventive maintenance and recommending options for improvement.
  • Ensure documentation and procedures are always up to date.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience as a Network Engineer.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco Routers, Aruba switches, Fortinet, Juniper, and Palo Alto firewalls is required.
  • A thorough understanding of switching protocols including VLANs, Spanning Tree, HSRP/VRRP, LAG, and other protocols used in Enterprise Networks is necessary.
  • Experience configuring Firewalls, Wireless Controllers, and Access Points is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience with Voice and SIP call flow troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and SBCs is required, with Audiocodes experience being a bonus.
  • An in-depth understanding and experience of routing protocols is necessary.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting IPSec Site to Site VPNs is a must.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks is necessary.
  • Candidates should be quick learners with a willingness to learn and study in their own time to further their career.
  • A valid Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance, a state-based Working with Children Check (WWCC), a Police check, and authorization to work in Australia are mandatory.
