The Senior Network Engineer role is a hands-on, non-managerial position responsible for the design, build, and maintenance of enterprise networks, Wi-Fi, remote-access stack, and cloud telephony platform.
The role aims to ensure fast, secure, and reliable connectivity for clinicians and patients.
The Senior Network Engineer will report to the IT Engineering Manager and collaborate closely with Security, Clinical Platform, and Site teams.
Responsibilities include architecting and deploying Ro’s LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN, managing Zoom Phone, monitoring network performance, enforcing zero-trust principles, automating configurations, and handling L3 escalations.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 5–7 years of experience as a network/voice engineer with a proven track record of delivering projects end-to-end.
A solid background in routing and switching is required, with the ability to design, configure, and manage a segmented network scheme.
Experience in centralized firewall management (Palo Panorama, FortiManager, Cisco FMC) is necessary to standardize configurations.
Demonstrated experience in tuning enterprise Wi-Fi for optimal performance in dense environments is essential.
Proven administrative experience with Cloudflare or similar SASE edge, as well as Zscaler or equivalent VPN/ZTNA, is required.
Hands-on experience with Zoom Phone deployment and number porting is necessary.
Candidates should be comfortable with CLI and prefer configuring via API.
Scripting skills in Bash or Python are required for automation tasks.
A keen attention to detail, particularly in identifying errors in JSON objects, is important.
Candidates should be fast learners, clear thinkers, and effective troubleshooters with a patient-first mindset.
The ability to collaborate effectively with security, operations, and clinical teams is essential.
