Description:

• SPACE44 is seeking a Senior PHP Developer who is passionate about crafting high-quality backend solutions and enjoys problem-solving and innovation.
• The role involves designing and developing scalable backend logic using PHP and the Symfony framework, with a focus on performance, modularity, and maintainability.
• Responsibilities include contributing to the evolution of a proprietary ERP platform, building complex business logic and workflow automation, and developing and maintaining Symfony-based applications.
• The developer will utilize Git for source control, participate in regular code reviews, and work with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• The position requires building robust APIs and backend services that integrate with various business systems and ensuring stability and resilience in backend services through proper testing and monitoring.
• The developer will also contribute to integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into system logic and support deploying and orchestrating LLMs using frameworks like Hugging Face or LangChain.
• Additionally, the role includes contributing to generative AI-based backend logic, including summarization, code assistance, and content automation.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years of backend development experience with strong PHP proficiency.
• Demonstrated experience with the Symfony framework in production applications is required.
• Hands-on familiarity with version control systems like Git is essential.
• Proficiency in relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is necessary.
• Experience with generative AI tools like Gemini or GitHub Copilot is preferred.
• Candidates should have experience working in asynchronous remote teams with high autonomy.
• A BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, and candidates should be based in Europe for legal and logistical alignment.
