The Senior PHP Developer will join the 3rd Party Integrations squad, responsible for connecting healthcare systems with external platforms.
The team develops Public APIs that enable partners to integrate their systems seamlessly and builds integrations that initiate communication.
The role involves handling millions of requests while prioritizing efficient resource usage, performance optimization, observability, and high-quality support.
As primary owners of integrations tooling, the team ensures reliability and scalability at the core of every solution.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience building and maintaining backend services and APIs using PHP.
Strong experience working with PHP is essential.
Proven ability to take ownership and deliver results in high-autonomy environments is required.
A fast learner with a constant desire to grow and explore new technologies is preferred.
Candidates should be curious and proactive, asking questions and seeking a deep understanding of systems and problems.
Excellent team player with strong collaboration and communication skills is necessary.
Experience with tools and technologies such as Git, ELK Stack, DataDog, GitHub Actions, MySQL, relational database design, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is required.
Practical experience in backend architecture and API design is essential.
Candidates must be comfortable working in Agile environments.
A product-oriented mindset, caring about product management and understanding user needs, is necessary.
English communication skills at B2 level or above (spoken and written) are required.
Nice to have: Experience with C# and .NET framework, Symfony framework, Frontend development (ideally using Vue.js), building APIs that process millions of requests, knowledge of security best practices, experience working with Docker, and exposure to or experience in a DevOps culture.
