Remote Senior Platform Engineer

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in backend development.
• Experience in architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact and high usage is required.
• Master-level proficiency in systems programming languages such as Golang, Rust, or C++ is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of database systems and internals, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, is essential.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible is required.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are a must.
• Blockchain-specific backend experience, such as working on BFT consensus engines or event indexing systems, is a plus.
• Experience with Ethereum roll-up technologies like Arbitrum Nova or Optimism is also a plus.
• Contributions to open source projects and active participation on ethresear.ch are considered advantageous.
