SignalFire is seeking exceptional Senior Platform Engineers to join their Talent Network for VC-backed startups.
The role involves building and scaling cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, and high-reliability systems.

Typical responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure, developing internal developer platforms, optimizing Kubernetes environments, implementing infrastructure-as-code solutions, and improving system observability.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure.
Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) is required.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) is necessary.
Proficiency in CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Spinnaker) is expected.
Knowledge of distributed systems architecture, networking, and service mesh technologies (Envoy, Istio, Linkerd) is important.
Expertise in observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, OpenTelemetry) is required.
Candidates should have experience with automated scaling, failover, and disaster recovery strategies.
Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or TypeScript for automation and tooling are necessary.
Experience implementing zero-trust security models, IAM policies, and cloud security best practices is required.
Familiarity with cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure is a plus.
Experience in early-stage startups or fast-moving engineering teams is advantageous.
