Remote Senior Platform Engineer

Description:

• This role is for one of the Weekday's clients.
• The salary range for this position is Rs 2500000 - Rs 3500000 (i.e., INR 25-35 LPA).
• The minimum experience required is 5 years.
• This is a full-time job.
• Responsibilities include designing and implementing core platform features such as job scheduling, orchestration, execution engines, and resource management.
• The candidate will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• The role involves diagnosing and resolving issues to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and high performance.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, is essential to refine and implement feature requirements.
• Continuous enhancement of technical expertise through engagement in technical discussions and learning from peers is expected.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages is required.
• Hands-on experience in building and deploying enterprise applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is necessary.
• A solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture is essential.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly in distributed systems running in cloud environments, are required.
• The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in full-time, agile software development roles.
• A proven track record of owning features end-to-end, from design and development to deployment and production support, is necessary.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment are required.
• A strong sense of ownership with attention to detail is essential.
