Pure Storage is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team in Wisconsin.
The role involves understanding customers' unique challenges and tailoring Pure Storage solutions to meet their specific needs.
You will collaborate closely with the sales team and act as a technical expert during the sales process.
Responsibilities include developing an understanding of customer business drivers, connecting technology solutions to measurable business outcomes, and partnering with account managers and channel partners.
You will showcase the advantages of Pure Storage solutions and provide technical leadership on storage products and architectures.
The position requires managing evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations, as well as delivering technical presentations to customers.
You will capture customer requirements, lead responses to RFPs, and promote interoperability and performance testing.
The role also involves liaising with product and technical marketing to produce supporting materials and staying current with competition and market trends.

Requirements:
A BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical degree, or equivalent experience is required.
Pre-sales experience is mandatory for this position.
Candidates should have 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications, preferably in enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales.
A deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions is essential.
Familiarity with modern web architecture, including LAMP stack and AWS well-architected framework, is a plus.
Experience in targeting new prospects and converting them into clients is required.
Candidates should have superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures, including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
Previous experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and distributed network environments is necessary.
Knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture and general networking is required.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

The annual base salary range for this position is between $137,200 and $206,500 USD, with potential eligibility for incentive pay and/or equity.
