Remote Senior Production Infrastructure Engineer- System Engineering

Description:

• You will be an instrumental team member in the global team to define and automate the creation of new projects and resources in Google Cloud.
• You will manage and tune the scaling and performance of the environments and its technology components such as MySQL, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB.
• You will be in charge of further hardening and securing the environments, automating further with security and penetration tests, and taking immediate action on any security alerts.
• You will be responsible for planning and executing upgrades on both system and application levels for the environments.

Requirements:

• You must have experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, which may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• You need to have 5+ years of experience in system administration on Linux servers.
• You should have 2+ years of experience in system administration on a cloud computing platform.
• You must have 2+ years of experience in automation frameworks such as Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Experience with the Google Cloud platform is a plus.
• Experience in monitoring and tuning Elasticsearch, MongoDB, MySQL, and NGINX is a plus.
• A focus on constant learning and improving technical and personal skillsets is required.
