The position is for a Senior Python / Backend Developer who is a Dutch speaker.
This is a full-time engagement that allows for remote work, ideally within Β±3 hours of CET.

The role involves designing scalable and flexible data models and schemas.
The developer will collaborate on architecture and design with a small, cross-functional team.
Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs, as well as integrating third-party APIs and services, including LLMs like OpenAI and Gemini.
The developer will work with JSON and structured data formats, debug, test, and improve the existing codebase.
Ensuring quality through clear documentation and version control using Git is also part of the job.
The developer will participate in remote planning and review meetings.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years of overall software development experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Python.
Proven experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs is required.
A solid understanding of data modeling and schema design is necessary.
Candidates should be comfortable working with JSON and external API services.
Familiarity with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Gemini, and Hugging Face is preferred.
Experience using GitHub and common Git workflows is essential.
The candidate must be confident in debugging and improving existing systems.
Clear and proactive communication skills are required.
The ability to work as a team player while also being able to work independently is important.
Fluency in Dutch is a mandatory requirement.
