An international technology company is seeking a Senior Python Developer with a strong background in system-level programming and Linux internals.
The company develops advanced Linux-based operating systems and infrastructure tools, trusted by industry leaders such as Dell, GoDaddy, IBM, and Zoom, among over 4,500 organizations worldwide.
The role involves working on mission-critical products that enhance Linux server security, enable live patching, and improve overall system reliability.
This is a fully remote position with a flexible schedule, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to products used by millions of systems globally.
Your tasks will include developing and maintaining high-quality Python-based solutions for Linux-based products, working on live patching technologies and security enhancements, and contributing to the development of automated security mechanisms.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features, optimize and troubleshoot code, participate in code reviews, analyze and mitigate security vulnerabilities, and research new technologies.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of commercial experience with Python.
A strong knowledge of Linux is required.
Experience with automated testing and CI/CD systems, preferably Ansible and Jenkins, is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in system programming, including sockets, filesystem, and process management.
Proficiency in English at a B2+ level is required.
Additional experience in network security, Go, SQL and Data Analysis, network and/or web security, ModSec rules, regular expressions, Web Application Firewalls, and detecting and mitigating malware, viruses, and web shells will be considered an advantage.
