An international technology company is seeking a Senior Python Developer with expertise in system-level programming and Linux internals.
The company develops advanced Linux-based operating systems and infrastructure tools, trusted by industry leaders such as Dell, GoDaddy, IBM, and Zoom.
The role involves working on mission-critical products that enhance Linux server security, enable live patching, and improve overall system reliability.
This is a fully remote position with a flexible schedule, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to products used by millions of systems globally.
Your tasks will include developing and maintaining high-quality Python-based solutions for Linux products, working on live patching technologies, contributing to automated security mechanisms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing and troubleshooting code, participating in code reviews, analyzing security vulnerabilities, and researching new technologies.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of commercial experience with Python.
A strong knowledge of Linux is required.
Experience with automated testing and CI/CD systems, preferably Ansible and Jenkins, is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in system programming, including sockets, filesystem, and process management.
Proficiency in English at a B2+ level is required.
Additional advantageous skills include experience with network security, Go, SQL and Data Analysis, network/web security, ModSec rules, regular expressions, Web Application Firewalls, and detecting and mitigating malware, viruses, and web shells.
