Remote Senior QA Engineer

• The Senior QA Engineer will help test the drone software platform to ensure high-quality releases for first responders.
• The role primarily focuses on manual testing for web products while also advancing test automation.
• Responsibilities include planning, testing, and certifying software for release, creating and maintaining test cases and plans, performing manual end-to-end testing, writing detailed defect tickets, validating implementations, and developing automated tests for both UI and API.
• The position advocates for quality throughout the engineering team.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 5+ years of experience manually testing web-based or mobile software in an agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes is required.
• Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail is necessary.
• Candidates must have experience with API level testing and familiarity with API testing tools and automation.
• A strong understanding of HTTP protocols, headers, status codes, and payload validation is essential.
• Experience writing automated tests and scripting using Selenium and Nightwatch.js is required.
• Candidates should be able to switch gears between focus areas depending on testing needs.
• A passion for exploring new functionality to find potential bugs and edge cases is important.
