Description:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Identify test scenarios, design, create, and execute manual test cases ensuring full coverage and traceability with requirements.
  • Perform functional, system, integration, UAT, and regression testing across web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Document and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test results.
  • Identify, log, track, and retest defects to ensure proper resolution.
  • Participate in requirement reviews to provide feedback from a QA perspective.
  • Assist in risk identification, test effort estimation, and test planning.
  • Mentor junior testers and promote QA best practices across the team.
  • Work closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to validate business needs and ensure product quality.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software testing with at least 2+ years focused on automation is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience in System Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, and Regression Testing is essential.
  • Experience with test case design, execution, defect reporting, and tracking is required.
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr is expected.
  • Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools is needed.
  • Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, or JUnit is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD is important.
  • An understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies is required.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
