Remote Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Description:

• The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst oversees all quality assurance activities within projects.
• You will be responsible for reviewing system requirements, functional specifications, and design documents.
• Your role will include creating all test artifacts in line with quality standards.
• You will ensure that the product or application meets established quality criteria, including reliability, usability, and performance.
• You will lead and direct all the efforts of the QA team.
• You will create test artifacts such as test strategy, test plan, test scenarios, test cases, and test closure.
• You will define, implement, and enforce departmental QA policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures.
• You will identify the testing strategy for the project, testing scope, and coordinate with the teams for QA environment needs and readiness.
• You will participate in internal reviews of test cases.
• You will execute test plans, test cases, and scripts.
• You will review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, relevant technical diploma, or equivalent experience in software development is required.
• You must have 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA).
• You should have at least 5 years of experience in software testing.
• Experience in the retail industry is considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases is necessary.
• A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle is required.
• Expertise in QA methodologies, tools, and processes is essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability are necessary.
