Remote Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation

Description:

• As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play an important role in a dynamic, collaborative, and high-performing team.
• You will help ensure the delivery of high-quality software by guiding test automation, participating in the development lifecycle, and promoting a culture of quality across the organization.
• You will validate that the product meets defined acceptance criteria and quality standards through comprehensive automated testing.
• You will contribute to the Definition of Done (DoD) and participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning to identify ambiguities, edge cases, and test scenarios early in the development cycle, improving clarity and reducing rework.
• You will design automated test suites and integrate these into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable, and repeatable deployments.
• You will promote best practices in testing and quality assurance, collaborating with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to improve the development process.

Requirements:

• You must have 5+ years of experience in software QA, with a focus on test automation and CI/CD.
• You should have experience with QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java) is required.
• You must have experience with performance, security, and API testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices is necessary.
• You should have experience with tools like Cypress for test automation.
• You must be capable of API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST-assured.
• You should have the ability to write and understand SQL queries for data validation.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter is required.
• You must have experience with Agile methodologies.
