Responsibilities include defining and implementing QA strategy, ensuring quality standards are integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web and API testing to validate functionality, reliability, and performance.
The Senior Quality Engineer will provide technical leadership and mentorship to the QA team, promoting good coding practices and technical excellence.
The position requires driving continuous improvement by researching and implementing new technologies and methodologies to optimize quality processes.
Collaboration with product, DevOps, and development teams is essential to ensure technical quality is prioritized in decision-making and CI/CD processes.
Candidates should have experience with front-end web application test automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, JestJS, and Postman.
Experience in API testing, integration testing, and regression testing is required.
A solid background in debugging, log analysis, and root cause investigation of application issues is necessary.
The candidate should have a track record in defining and optimizing quality strategies for software systems and a solid understanding of CI/CD and modern software development practices.
Experience in Agile settings and reducing technical debt in fast-moving environments is important.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, process improvement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are required.
Requirements:
A strong grasp of formal testing fundamentals is preferred, with ISTQB certification being a plus.
Familiarity with advanced testing areas such as web performance (Core Web Vitals) and security testing (SAST/DAST) is desirable.
Experience with the tech stack including JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js is preferred.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), X-Ray, or DataDog is a plus.
Candidates must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
