The position is for a Senior R Developer who will lead complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data-driven solutions.
Key responsibilities include managing and executing advanced data analysis and software development projects using R, conducting sophisticated statistical analyses, developing and maintaining data processing pipelines, writing and deploying efficient R code, providing mentorship to junior developers, collaborating with stakeholders, conducting code reviews, creating documentation, and staying updated with the latest developments in R programming and data science.
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in R development is required.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field is necessary.
Proficiency in R programming language and its core packages (dplyr, ggplot2, tidyr, etc.) is essential.
A strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques is required.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git, is necessary.
Familiarity with database management and SQL is required.
Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Python, is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights are essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
The candidate should be comfortable exploring and adopting new libraries or frameworks as needed and eager to innovate towards new solutions.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously is necessary.
