We are looking for a Senior or Expert React Native Engineer with strong communication skills in English and a proactive mindset to join our mobile team and help us build the next generation of the Autohero mobile app.
You will work on a modern, well-maintained codebase, influence technical decisions, and shape the user experience for thousands of customers across Europe.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining features in our React Native app for iOS and Android.
You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver user value.
You will own core parts of the app architecture, ensuring long-term performance and maintainability.
The position requires improving app speed, reliability, and UX through best practices and performance tuning.
You will participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentor fellow engineers.
You will drive technical decisions and help improve team workflows and mobile engineering culture.
Requirements:
You must have 4+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
You should have 3+ years of production experience with React Native.
A solid understanding of mobile development best practices, including navigation, animations, and performance, is required.
Experience with state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and server state handling with React Query is necessary.
Familiarity with debugging tools, testing (unit/integration), and mobile release processes is expected.
Bonus points for experience with native modules, CI/CD, and app store deployment.
