Remote Senior React Native Engineer (Incogni)

Description:

• We are assembling a new team to lead the development of an Incogni mobile application using React Native.
• We are looking for a mobile engineer ready to take on meaningful ownership.
• Incogni is at the forefront of consumer privacy-tech, making it easy for people to remove their personal information from data brokers.
• You will help shape the product, influence architectural decisions, and contribute to defining how AI-assisted engineering and agentic workflows become part of our daily development practice.
• This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both building and leading, and who sees AI not just as a tool, but as an opportunity to rethink how software gets made.
• You will take technical responsibility for major areas of the mobile app, from feature development to architectural direction.
• You will leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude) to improve velocity, quality, and development experience.
• You will help shape and experiment with AI agent tools that can support prototyping, testing, or scaffolding tasks.
• You will work closely with design, backend, and product to deliver a seamless, high-performing mobile experience.
• You will set standards for testing, performance, and maintainability, and guide others through thoughtful code reviews and mentorship.

Requirements:

• You must have proven experience with React Native.
• You should have commercial experience building and shipping real-world mobile applications.
• You need solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and mobile UI architecture.
• Familiarity with Zustand or similar state management libraries is required.
• You should have an eagerness to use or explore tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Cody, etc.
• You must be willing to experiment with agent-based AI models and think about how they will impact development workflows.
• Bonus points if you are familiar with backend technologies, such as working with Node.js APIs.
