H2O.ai is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for its North American Solutions Engineering team.
The role involves providing leadership in the design, architecture, and deployment of H2O.ai solutions for enterprise data architecture.
Responsibilities include presenting H2O.ai technology to executives and technical contributors, collaborating with product management and sales teams, and driving innovation in H2O.ai technologies.
The Senior Sales Engineer will partner with sales and channel partners to understand customer needs and support strategic enterprise pilots and proof-of-concepts.
The position requires close collaboration with the Product team to influence product roadmaps based on customer feedback.
The role also involves contributing to the creation of reference architectures and responding to technical product questions across H2O technology.
The Senior Sales Engineer will demo key components of H2O.ai technology, including Driverless AI and ML Ops.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of technology architecture experience with a deep understanding of scaling applications with large data sets.
A minimum of 3 years of customer-facing application development experience with Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and expert knowledge of Kubernetes is required.
Experience in producing technical architecture diagrams for various infrastructures is necessary.
Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences are essential.
A broad range of experience with on-prem and/or cloud software is required.
Consultative selling experience is considered an asset.
Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, and Java for machine learning is necessary.
Strong knowledge of Python programming and familiarity with data munging and machine learning libraries is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Candidates must be self-starters, able to work without supervision, and comfortable with traveling up to 50%.
Experience with H2O.ai is a plus.
