Description:

• Bonzzu is looking for a talented and motivated Senior Scala Engineer who is passionate about full-cycle software development using Scala as their primary language.
• This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building robust, scalable backend systems.
• The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems using Scala exclusively.
• The engineer will lead and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from architecture and coding to testing and deployment.
• The position requires working with streaming and messaging tools like Kafka to enable real-time processing.
• The engineer will build and manage distributed storage solutions, such as Cassandra.
• Participation in the development and exploration of Knowledge Graphs and other cutting-edge data solutions is expected.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong, hands-on expertise in Scala is required, as this is a full development role, not a supporting or scripting position.
• Experience with real-time systems and backend infrastructure is necessary.
• Familiarity with tools like Kafka, Cassandra, and other relevant backend technologies is important.
• Excellent design and architecture skills with a focus on clean, maintainable code are required.
• An interest in solving challenging and unsolved problems, particularly in areas like Knowledge Graphs, is preferred.
