Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in security consulting or related roles, with a strong focus on Microsoft Cloud Security is required.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is necessary.
Deep expertise in Microsoft security solutions including Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender suite, Azure Sentinel, Entra ID, Intune, and XDR solutions is essential.
Professional certifications required include CISSP, SC-401, AZ-305 (or to be obtained within 12 months of hire). Additional certifications such as CCSP, CISA, CISM, SC-100, or SC-200 are highly desirable.
A strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and security standards (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST) is needed.
Advanced knowledge of vulnerability management, incident response, SIEM, SOAR, and cloud security best practices is required.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are necessary.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, are essential.
Proven leadership experience, including mentoring, guiding technical teams, and managing client engagements, is required.
A willingness to travel as needed for client engagements, primarily within upstate New York and occasionally out of state, is necessary.
