  • The Senior Security Engineer will lead assurance activities such as penetration testing, purple teaming, and application security assessments.
  • Responsibilities include driving key security initiatives, identifying security risks, providing expert security guidance, supporting incident response processes, and managing one team member.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a security role, demonstrating a proven track record at a senior level.
  • Relevant security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISA, CISSP, or equivalent are desirable.
  • Knowledge of security compliance standards including Cyber Essentials, GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST is required.
  • Applicants should have experience assessing, planning, and implementing cloud security controls, particularly with AWS.
  • Familiarity with cloud security platforms like AWS GuardDuty, Inspector, and Control Tower is necessary.
  • Proficiency in DevSecOps practices and common scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python is expected.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive mindset, are essential.
  • Candidates should be self-starters capable of taking ownership of work and comfortable collaborating across teams.
