The Senior Security Engineer II will join the Information Security team, focusing on AWS, cloud architecture, and security best practices.
Responsibilities include ensuring environment security, visibility, and compliance, conducting vulnerability assessments, and responding to potential incidents.
The role involves working with Engineering and IT teams to ensure security principles are followed in infrastructure deployment.
The engineer will develop security architectures, manage CASB and WAF solutions, and maintain awareness of the security threat landscape.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cyber Security, or a related field is required.
Candidates must hold a CISSP, Security+, or another recognized Cybersecurity certification.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in security operations is necessary.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
Candidates should have a solid understanding of incident response processes, particularly in cloud environments.
Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys or Tenable is required.
Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and IT infrastructures is necessary.
Candidates must be able to automate tasks using Python, Bash, or equivalent scripting languages.
Familiarity with security operations systems like MDM, DLP, Firewalls, CASB, and SIEM/SOC is important.
Knowledge of security frameworks such as FFIEC, NIST, ISO, and CIS Benchmarks is required.
Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation is a significant plus.

The compensation range for this position is between $123,200 and $184,800 USD, with potential performance-based bonuses and equity grants.
