IntelyCare is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to enhance and safeguard the organization's information security posture.
The role requires expertise in multiple security domains and a high level of accountability.
Responsibilities include leading strategic security initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of security infrastructure.
The position involves advanced troubleshooting for endpoint security issues and implementing, maintaining, and monitoring various security tools.
The engineer will take a leadership role in vulnerability management and risk management, particularly third-party risk management.
The role includes responding to security incidents, supporting identity and access management governance, and defining security awareness and secure code training programs.
Participation in technical and non-technical projects requiring information security oversight is expected, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
Other duties may be assigned, showcasing a high level of responsibility and expertise in the information security domain.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
Candidates should have at least 4-6 years of information security experience or a combination of 8 to 10 years of IT system administration with a focus on security.
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Linux, AzureAD/Entra, networking, and vulnerability management tools is required.
Experience with logging and monitoring systems, SIEM, and EDR/MDR is necessary.
Candidates must have experience conducting risk assessments that align with compliance and privacy laws.
Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python are required.
Familiarity with the SDLC and software development practices is expected.
A demonstrated interest in detection engineering, cloud security, and risk management is important.
Willingness to assist during off-hours for prompt incident response is necessary.
Proven ability to communicate business risk in the context of information security at a senior level is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to tailor responses to the audience.
