The Senior Security Engineer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security controls across Pacific Fusion’s SaaS applications, endpoint devices, and mobile device management environment.
This role will ensure that critical business applications are securely configured, MDM policies are enforced, and both company-owned and BYOD devices meet security requirements.
The Security Engineer will work closely with IT, operations, and business application owners to manage application access controls, oversee security configuration baselines, and respond to security incidents.
The Engineer will play a key role in maintaining Pacific Fusion’s security posture across a growing hybrid environment of SaaS services, on-premise systems, and diverse endpoints.
Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining security settings for critical SaaS applications, managing and enforcing MDM policies, overseeing endpoint security, implementing secure authentication and access control policies, conducting regular security reviews, monitoring for security incidents, collaborating with stakeholders, and maintaining documentation of security controls.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in IT security, endpoint management, or related fields.
Hands-on experience with MDM solutions (e.g. Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Kandji) for device enrollment, configuration, and compliance management is required.
A strong knowledge of SaaS application administration and security configuration best practices is necessary.
Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), MFA, and conditional access policies is expected.
Understanding of endpoint protection technologies, patch management, and encryption is essential.
Experience investigating and remediating security incidents is required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams are necessary.
