  • The company is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with strong software engineering expertise to evolve and support the reliability of their cloud platform.
  • This role is part of the Infrastructure Engineering function and is critical for ensuring the performance, scalability, and availability of systems and infrastructure.
  • The ideal candidate will design and build systems, focusing on automation, tooling, and resilient architecture for high availability and fault tolerance across an AWS-based platform.
  • Key responsibilities include building internal tools, designing fault-tolerant systems, developing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, leading architecture reviews, defining service-level indicators, automating reliability processes, collaborating with teams, participating in post-incident reviews, and joining an on-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles in modern, cloud-native environments.
  • Strong software engineering skills are required, with experience in writing production-grade code, preferably in Java, Python, Go, or similar languages.
  • A deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure and services, including VPC design, IAM, ECS/EKS, and networking fundamentals, is essential.
  • Proven experience in designing and scaling distributed, event-driven systems and understanding their operational failure modes is necessary.
  • Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes in production, including multi-region deployments, service meshes, and runtime observability, is required.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and infrastructure automation using tools like ArgoCD, Terraform, or Helm is needed.
  • A solid grasp of system performance, reliability engineering, and the tradeoffs between availability, latency, and scalability is important.
