FE fundinfo is a global leader in investment fund data and technology, seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for a 6-month contract.
The Engineering & Data Management function designs, builds, and deploys software products for various financial market clients, focusing on the fund data value chain.
Key responsibilities include developing tools, SDKs, and APIs to enhance framework adoption and integration across business units.
The role involves creating scalable front-end applications and integration components while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The engineer will write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and system robustness, as well as design detailed end-to-end technical solutions and document system architecture and flows.
Monitoring system performance, analyzing trends, and recommending enhancements for continuous improvement is also part of the job.
The engineer will act as a bridge between framework and product development teams to identify and resolve integration challenges.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, Typescript, and AngularJS.
Solid hands-on knowledge of C#, .NET frameworks, REST APIs, and relational databases such as MS SQL or PostgreSQL is required.
At least 1 year of experience with Azure services like App Service, Functions, SQL PaaS, and Cosmos DB is necessary.
Demonstrable experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments and using CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps is essential.
A passion for applying design patterns, unit test automation, and cloud-first development practices is a must.
