  • You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to craft seamless AI-powered experiences, such as vector-powered search, proactive suggestions, and agentic systems.
  • The role involves building AI-powered product features that feel native, fast, and delightful to use, as well as designing backend services to power natural language interfaces and smart suggestions.
  • You will also optimize prompts, fine-tune model behavior, evaluate performance, and contribute to the architecture for AI-integration infrastructure that is reliable and privacy-aware.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience in building and deploying AI systems to production.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js for backend services is required.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL APIs and WebSocket-based real-time sync is necessary.
  • Experience with public and private AI models, as well as temporal for async workloads, is expected.
  • Knowledge of Postgres, Redis, and Turbopuffer for storage and caching is important.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working in a cloud environment, specifically Google Cloud with Kubernetes.
  • Strong collaboration skills are essential, as you will work with product and design teams to prototype and iterate on intelligent workflows and user interactions.
  • A passion for software craftsmanship and a focus on quality in your work is crucial.
