We are looking for experienced engineers who have built and deployed AI systems to production to help design and build native AI features that elevate our core product.
You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to craft seamless AI-powered experiences, such as vector-powered search, proactive suggestions, and agentic systems.
The role involves building AI-powered product features that feel native, fast, and delightful to use, as well as designing backend services to power natural language interfaces and smart suggestions.
You will also optimize prompts, fine-tune model behavior, evaluate performance, and contribute to the architecture for AI-integration infrastructure that is reliable and privacy-aware.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience in building and deploying AI systems to production.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js for backend services is required.
Familiarity with GraphQL APIs and WebSocket-based real-time sync is necessary.
Experience with public and private AI models, as well as temporal for async workloads, is expected.
Knowledge of Postgres, Redis, and Turbopuffer for storage and caching is important.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a cloud environment, specifically Google Cloud with Kubernetes.
Strong collaboration skills are essential, as you will work with product and design teams to prototype and iterate on intelligent workflows and user interactions.
