Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• The position is for a Senior Software Engineer located anywhere in the EU.
• The contract duration is between 6 to 12 months.
• The role requires a Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering.
• If the candidate does not have a relevant degree, they must have at least 7 years of equivalent professional experience.
• The candidate must have 7 years of experience in Software Development specifically for Financial Institutions.
• Knowledge of software development methodology, design, and lifecycles is essential.
• Experience in supporting WallStreet Suite TRM interfaces and CSDs developments is required.
• Strong experience with Sybase ASE, PL/SQL, Python, XML, and Linux is necessary.
• The candidate should have a strong ability to understand the context of source code and its relation to business objectives.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important.
• The candidate must demonstrate the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to various stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and software tools for agile planning, such as Jira, is necessary.
