Requirements:

  • Candidates should bring leading industry techniques and technologies to the team.
  • A strong understanding of distributed systems and the impact of architectural decisions on performance and maintainability is essential.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Frontend Engineers, and other specialists is required.
  • A focus on quality is necessary, with the ability to write testable code that performs and scales.
  • Candidates must be able to work with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and evolving goals.
  • Prior cloud experience is required.
  • Experience with Scala and its libraries is necessary.
  • Prior experience in travel or eCommerce is preferred.
  • Experience and interest in contributing to front-end development, particularly with React web front ends, is a plus.
