As a Senior Software Engineer in the Billing team, you will be involved in developing the advertising platform and producing production-level code that impacts product success.
You will work with large data sets and modern tech stacks including GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL.
The role involves designing, improving, and debugging complex, scalable systems, and optimizing performance.
You will write extensible, scalable, and test-driven code, participate in technical planning, and make architectural decisions.
Collaboration with team members on designing scalable web architecture, including APIs and backend systems, is essential.
You will take ownership of projects, contribute to code and technical spec reviews, and provide mentorship to interns and junior engineers.
The position requires advising teams on technical debt consolidation and identifying performance issues with actionable solutions.
You will conduct technical interviews to attract high-performing candidates.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5+ years of full-time work experience in building highly performant web applications with excellent user experience is required.
Recent work experience with Ruby on Rails is mandatory.
Knowledge of full-stack technologies such as React, Typescript, GraphQL, and Go is preferred.
Experience in collaborating closely with Product & Design teams to create high-impact end-to-end product experiences is necessary.
Familiarity with relational databases and key-value stores is required.
Experience in analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing web application page load performance across the entire stack is essential.
